Fun Stuff

A twin yolk - I was pregnant the first time I got this.
Three days later, I got another one. I swore I was having twins!

~ Rainbow Fruit Kebobs ~
Saw this about a billion times on Pinterest.
Took it to a kid's birthday party and it was gone within 10 minutes.
When it comes to kids, presentation is everything!

~ Celery Rose ~

Spaghetti Squash!
Have you tried this stuff? You split it in half, scoop out the seeds,
bake the halves at 350 degrees F face down in a baking dish with a
little water until very soft, about 30 to 40 minutes.
Let them cool just enough to handle, then rake a fork through the flesh.
It shreds apart and looks just like spaghetti. So cool!

Clementines are perfect for kids - sweet, seedless, easy to peel.
You can draw smiley faces on them for their lunch box,
make them look like jack-o-lanters for Halloween,
or give them as treats for class parties.

Why does my ice reach for the sky??
I'm sure there is some perfectly logical scientific explanation for why this happens,
but it still boggles my mind every time!

My bread machine comes with a jam-making setting, so I gave it a whirl.
It was a little runny (maybe it needs more pectin?),
but it still tastes good and makes a fabulous syrup for pancakes and waffles.

Full size Golden Delicious on the left ~ Full size Lady Apple on the right ~
Too darn cute!

D'Anjou Pear on the left ~ Seckel Pear on the right

Don't ask me why, but I have always, always, always wanted this stuff.
And now I have it! Whoo hoo! (I'm weird, you'll get used to it)

Absolutely essential if you are trying to eliminate artificial colors.
Love these!

Happy Peanut Butter!

Dip almonds and cashews (or any nut) into melted chocolate, then freeze for 5 minutes. Perfect!

Wow. Just wow.

Andrew made Nachos for us - he made K's look super silly - he loved it!

Tortilla Pizza - because paying $12 a pie just kills me.

The chicken rolls that spawned my Unrolled Chicken Rolls.

Hospital Food.
That red ring is a spiced apple that comes on EVERY plate as a garnish.
Between that and the parsley, I totally understand why they charge $5k per night.

Pumpkins at the Pick-Your-Own Farm

Apples at the Farm

Homemade Baby Food
Applesauce
Butternut Squash, Sweet Potatoes
Peas, Cauliflower, Green Beans

A half cake for K's half birthday - and, yes, I was going for the messy look
